I am so loving life at the moment! After a month or so of uncertainty and a little fear (ok - a lot of fear) - I got some great news yesterday. I had been for a follow up mammogram and ultrasound - one that I have to have yearly following a little brush with intraductal cancer a few years ago. This time they found a mass in the tissue of my breast...eek! I was there for over 2 hrs getting films taken and ultrasounds done, and I knew they had found something. It was hard waiting for the results, but I wasn't surprised when I was told I needed a core biopsy. I had that done last week and have been waiting for the results from that. I got the results yesterday and they came back benign! Woohoo - no breast cancer. I couldn't have asked for better news for Christmas and now I can relax a little! My mind had been working triple overtime over the last few weeks of course - I even put off getting my hair cut in case it was going to fall out (how strange can you get LOL) Of course now, I can't get an appointment for a hair cut until after the New Year - I'll just have to look scruffier than usual in any holiday pics LOL.
Now, of course, I have to start thinking about Christmas. Is it really just 3 days away? I've got the shopping done, but will be spending most of today putting together brag books for the family. We aren't exchanging gifts this year (not my idea) - but I have a heap of pics I've taken of family members over the year that they haven't seen yet. I also have vouchers for free 4x6 prints so I'll put them to good use! Merry Christmas!

Oooh Deb, I can only imagine how much worry you have been through with your wait for results!
So pleased you are OK - you really must have an angel looking after you.
