Totally spoilt!!

My DH managed to bring me to tears on Friday as we celebrated my Birthday. Forty years old - I knew it was coming and I still can't believe it. The reason for the tears? - I was totally overwhelmed with the surprises he had chosen for me. I'd chosen my new camera the week before - spent a little more than anticipated but I'm so happy I did. It is awesome. But Gary and the children came out singing Happy Birthday and carrying a washing basket full of gifts with more in their arms. I have never been so spoilt in my life! Birthday cards, funny and sweet. Nick chose one card where I had to sign my name to receive the gift, and ended up signing an absence note for school LOL. Two books - one on the meaning of dreams, the other by the lady who inspired the TV series Medium. Beautiful bead earrings from Nick. Silver earrings from Gary. Next came a little box ... a diamond necklace!!! My only other diamond has been in my wedding ring! A huge fluffy bath towel. Socks from Lauren. A black scarf that I wanted. A DVD of the first series of Greys Anatomy. Chocolates. Clothing shop gift voucher. An Ipod Nano !!!! (this is when I got totally overwhelmed). I'd hinted at a little MP3 player, nothing fancy - and he spoilt me with this! And my camera bag and camera of course. Gary had organised a family dinner at my parents place - a very enjoyable evening! I am one very very lucky 40 year old!!! Thanks honey :)
