Have I mentioned here before how much I love the kits by Mrs S ? This layout was done for a challenge over at Sweet Shoppe Designs The challenge was to find a site on the internet and use it for inspiration. Finding the site was the hardest part for me - I don't do a lot of browsing, and my bookmark list of favourites are mainly scrapbook sites LOL I stumbled across this personalised stationery site called groovy paper If you run your mouse over the part that says 'kids and teens' you can see the rest of my inspiration. I really loved the way they did the initial letters - reminded me of vellum so that was what I based the part with Lauren's name on it. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it - seems to lack a little zing when I look at the thumbnail of it ??? Think I'll leave it for a few days and then see what strikes me! I love doing the challenges at Sweet Shoppe Designs when I can. I always end up doing something I wouldn't normally try, and learning a little along the way.
