Plans for April

Thought I'd join in on the blog prompts at Sweet Shoppe Designs - From our Blog to Yours. Plans for April? In my dreams I'd have loads of free time, weekends spent lazing around the house and scrapping - yep that sounds like a good plan. Actually I am going to have a little extra time this month. School holidays start this Friday and the children don't go back to school until Tues. 17th - that's 11 days off! It's my turn to stay home this time (DH and I take it in turns so there is always one of us home with the kids). I don't have enough leave time left though - so will be taking some leave without pay. I haven't organised anything for Easter yet. Last year I bought the chocolate eggs early and hid them at home. Big mistake! They melted and went that funny colour - hard to explain why the Easter Bunny brought yucky eggs! ... and of course we only found out on Easter morning after he had visited. Think I might stash them at work this year. We haven't got anything else on our calendar yet but no doubt it will fill up quickly. April 25th is ANZAC day. I think Lauren will want to march in the parade with the Cub Scouts this year. I just hope she doesn't want to go to the dawn service ( I'm not so good that time of the day LOL). Nick is looking forward to working this Sunday - he'll get extra money as it's a holiday. Always a good incentive for a 15yr old.
