Monday ramblings

So - what do you do after a couple of hectic and stressful weeks are winding down? I thought my answer would be to sit down, relax and do some scrapping. But no - somehow we managed to spend most of Saturday shopping. (Have you ever tried to buy size 14 mens black shoes for a 14yr old with particular and trendy tastes??)Most shops don't even stock that size, and if they have any they are the ones no one wants. And definately not black. And absolutely not the kind that a 14yr old will wear to school! With another 3 yrs of high school left after this year, I sure hope his feet stop growing soon!!

Sunday I thought I would relax, but we ended up spending 6 or so hours cleaning! eek. Then some grocery shopping, and followed up by cooking 3 huge pots of home made soup! The good part is that my house is now clean and I can find now my computer table again. Next weekend I'm going to sit down and scrap!

I did manage to get this layout done though. It's for the Rakfile challenge over at RAKscraps. Just another pic of Lauren in the pool last summer. I used the My Summer kit by Correen Silke (I absolutely love working with her kits), the word overlay is by Kim Hill, the round stitches are be Bek, and the other stitching by Mrs S.
