My little sister got married!!

It was meant to be an engagement party - no fuss, smart casual and held on the 53rd floor of the Q1 in Surfers Paradise. It was a bit touch and go about whether we would make it or not, we were exhausted after spending a couple of days at the hospital ... but I am so glad we got there. As they stood up to say Thanks for coming, they announced the arrival of a Celebrant and got married ... there and then. So sneaky!! Such a surprise for everyone in the room! Even the families on both sides weren't in on it! I forgot to take my camera - but I'm just so glad that I was able to be there! Congratulations Karen and Jason!! Next time you have an event - please schedule it for a few floors lower though ... ground floor would be perfectly fine for me!!
