What a busy week it's been. I am so excited !!(understatement) I made it into the second round of the Ultimate Digi Scrapper competition!! The second challenge is - well - rather challenging!! LOL It's such an honour (albeit a scary one) to be competing against such talented and creative scrappers. I can only do my best I guess, and the thrill and excitement of participating can't be topped.

On another note, we finally convinced the orthopaedic team to schedule Nick in for surgery to reconstruct his little finger. He goes in this Friday and will have a lot of rehab to do to get an optimum result. My first drama is organising the rest of the family. He really needs both Gary and I there - me for the emotional and medical side, and Gary for the help with more personal aspects of looking after a teenage boy with two arms out of action (one in plaster, the other connected to a drip on a backslab).

I sure wish I had a little more free time though - somehow I have managed to get home from work on time only once in the last couple of weeks, and last night ended up staying for another 4 1/2 hours to teach a workshop. If only I could work out how to survive without needing to sleep!
